We are currently in our off-season. Check back soon for more info. In the meantime, please use the following dates:

Youngers (U8 -U14): January - March 2025
Practices begin in Oct

Olders (U16 & U18): March - May 2025
Practices begin in March

Summer Sevens (All): June - July 2025
Practices begin in May

Practices are held  Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 pm at Linda Vista Rec Center

REGISTRATION STEPS

  • All competing players nationwide are required to be registered with USA Rugby. This covers the whole year, including the regular 15's season, as well as Summer Sevens. USA Rugby Registrations last until August 31st. 

    Cost: $35

    Please click here to register your Wallaby with USA Rugby (via Rugby Explorer) before moving on to step 2 below.

  • The next step is to register with our State Youth Rugby organization, SoCal Youth Rugby (SCYR) on the MatchFacts registration platform. Here, you will also pay the SCYR dues. 

    This is an extremely important step as it will determine eligibility of the player. Please complete in a timely manner.

  • The final step is to pay the club fees. In years past, these would have been added to the SCYR fees and paid through MatchFacts, but at the request of many families, we have decided to separate these to allow for more payment options, including Venmo, Zelle, cash, and check.

    OMBAC Wallabies works hard to keep costs down. To that effect included in registration, new players will also get shorts socks. Returning players who have outgrown last year's shorts or socks will get new ones when they turn in their last year's shorts/socks.

Paying by Venmo

If paying by Venmo, please submit payment to @James-P-Glenister (https://account.venmo.com/u/James-P-Glenister), with clear reference made to the name(s), DOB(s) and USAR player number(s) of the players in question. 

To protect your kids privacy make sure the payment is not shown as public.

Paying by Check

Please make checks payable to OMBAC Wallabies Youth Rugby, on the Memo line write the name(s), DOB(s) and USAR player number(s) of the players in question and mail to:

Paying by Cash

If paying by cash, please put the total amount in a sealed envelope, complete with the name(s), DOB(s) and USAR player number(s) of the players in question, and hand it to Jamie Latty, Jennifer Kemp, or your coach for delivery.
